So, today I thought that I would pose another question. If you could take a food trip to any Southern city, where would it be and why?

Outside of the South, where is your favorite place to get a "southern" meal?
In Orlando there is a very small restaurant that makes the best hot wings. The owners are Arabic, but, sure have perfected cooking them ! The house hot sauce has been a mystery to me and all I've been able to pry from them was Texas Pete Sauce, butter and .... :-) Since it's somewhat creamy... I wonder if mayonnaise might be in it? 2nd question... outside of the south to get a Southern meal... I would have to say the Southern Ohio Valley. It's the cradle for early immigrant settlers to the area and has stewed as the melting pot of country cooking.
